Staffing Consultant - Agency Recruiter (SC-PHX-OKK) Scottsdale, Arizona

Salary: USD 45,000 - USD 70,000 per year + base salary + uncapped commission

Position: Staffing Consultant

Finding people for jobs, and jobs for people.

As a Staffing Consultant, your responsibilities include finding, interviewing, and qualifying job seekers for temporary/contract roles with local companies and organizations. This full-cycle recruiting role involves sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and managing the entire process from start to finish. You will engage with job seekers via phone, email, or in person, building strong relationships and coaching them throughout their job search process, including resume editing, interview preparation, and post-interview feedback. Additionally, you will meet with your team to discuss open positions, post job advertisements, and learn to utilize online sourcing tools.

Success in this role requires resourcefulness, strong personal initiative, and excellent judgment of character. You will determine the best job fit based on candidates' capabilities and business needs, selecting from among many applicants and aligning them with suitable companies and roles. This role demands reading beyond resumesunderstanding people is key.

This is a relationship-focused sales position; the more effort you put in, the greater your results. You will be accountable for your goals and tasked with building your book of business daily.

Your Daily Tasks:

  1. Identify prospective candidates via job boards, LinkedIn, internet searches, referrals, and networking.
  2. Proactively cold call to find potential candidates, establishing a strong foundation through outreach.
  3. Interview candidates to assess their suitability.
  4. Prepare candidates for interviews with clients, including resume review and mock interviews.
  5. Extend job offers and manage the offer process.
  6. Follow up with on-assignment candidates to ensure they have what they need.
