Schedule: April 14,15,16 7a-3p + night beeper call
April 21,22,23,24 7a-3p + night beeper call
Shifts - 7a-3p M-F with night beeper call, 24 hour call on Sat/Sun
Will need one day for orientation.
Work Details: Support Staff: Surgeon
Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: 4 days, 7a-3p plus call 3p-7a
Patients per day: 10-15 CVICU/step down patients, plus 1-2 surgeries
Patient Population/Age: adult/geron
Department Description: CT Surgery
EMR: Cerner
Hospital Bed size: 199
Special Procedures: temporary pacemaker removal, chest tube removal, IABP removal, Aline placement
Skills Required: recent cardiothoracic surgery, proficient with EVH
Practice Setting: Hospital

Job Requirements

Board Certification: Required
License Required: yes
DEA: yes
Minimum Experience Required: 3 years in cardiothoracic surgery with EVH
Graduate from a university program approved by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) - Required
Or Master's Degree in Nursing- Required
Certification & Licensures: Certified or certification eligible by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) - Required
Licensure or eligible for licensing as a Physicians Assistant in the State of Arizona– Required
ACLS and BLS (American Heart Association)- Required
OR Graduate from an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program – Required
Completion of a RN/NP First Assistant Program- Required
Current unrestricted Arizona APRN license- Required
Medical Surgical or NP ANCC or AANP Certification- Required
