Position Overview:

• Specialty: Pharmacy
• Unit: Pharmacist
• Shift:
• Day Shift: 5x8-Hour (07:00 AM – 03:00 PM)
• Mid Shift: 5x8-Hour (03:00 PM – 11:00 PM)
• Full-time with every other weekend rotation (Day & Evening shifts)
• Duration: 30 Weeks

 

Compensation:

• Weekly Gross: $2,851.00 Per Week
• On W2(Taxable): $800.00 Per Week ($18/hour)
• Stipend (Non-Taxable): $2,051.00 Per Week

 

& Responsibilities:

• As a Pharmacy Contractor, the candidate will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care in an acute care hospital setting. Key duties include:
• Dispense Medications: Accurately prepare, dispense, and label medications for inpatients and outpatients in compliance with pharmacy protocols.
• Medication Therapy Management: Review medication orders for appropriateness, monitor for drug interactions, allergies, and adverse effects.
• Pharmaceutical Consultations: Provide clinical advice to medical staff regarding drug interactions, dosages, and pharmacokinetics to optimize patient care.
• Patient Education: Counsel patients on proper medication usage, side effects, and safety precautions.
• Record Keeping & Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records in EPIC system, ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.

 

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent pharmacy experience
• MN State Pharmacy License (Same for inpatient and outpatient)
• COVID-19 Vaccine: Required, with medical/religious exemptions only
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend rotation required

7 Months Contract.
