Overview: Our client, a prominent regional bank with a strong presence in the Tri-State area, is seeking a dynamic and experienced SVP of Private Banking & Wealth Management to join their White Plains, NY office. This individual will play a key leadership role in managing and expanding relationships with high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients. The ideal candidate brings a successful track record in wealth advisory, investment management, and private banking within a retail banking or financial institution environment. Key Responsibilities: Serve as a trusted advisor to HNW and UHNW clients, providing tailored financial solutions across banking, lending, and investment management. Manage the administration and servicing of complex personal and family wealth accounts. Collaborate with internal partners in retail banking, commercial banking, and trust services to deliver a holistic client experience. Lead and mentor a small team of relationship managers or wealth advisors, depending on experience. Proactively cultivate and grow a network of affluent clients through referrals, professional centers of influence, and strategic business development. Maintain a high level of regulatory compliance and fiduciary responsibility in all client interactions. Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in private banking, wealth management, or retail investment management. Strong background in HNW/UHNW account administration, ideally within a banking setting. Proven experience delivering customized financial strategies and investment advice. Existing book of business or strong network in the New York City metropolitan area is preferred.
