2025 Biology Teacher (Full Time) Needed Near Frankfort, IL
ProCare Therapy has a contract Biology teaching job for our school district in Richton Park, IL. This would be a full time, K-12 placement. The ideal candidate would foster a classroom environment with opportunity for academic and personal growth. This Science Teacher will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive curriculum, assessing student progress, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance the educational experience.

Start Date: ASAP - End of School Year
Position Type: Full-Time, Spring Semester
Hours: 35

• Develop and implement biology lesson plans that align with the curriculum standards and meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Create interactive laboratory experiments.
• Assess and monitor student progress through regular assignments, tests, and other evaluation methods; provide timely feedback and support
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues; hold parent-teacher conferences and provide updates on student progress.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Education, Biology or a related field.
• PEL is required
• Proven experience teaching biology, preferably in a secondary school setting.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Passion for science education and helping students achieve their academic potential.

Additional Information:

• Hourly Contract Rate: $28-$32+ (Rate dependent on experience and School Districts budget)
