Do you have a passion for dogs and a desire to make a positive impact on their lives and the lives of their owners? The Dog Wizard - Riverview is seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time K9 handler to join our team! Weekend availability and the ability to start immediately are required.

Responsibilities:

• Train dogs in basic and advanced obedience, behavior modification, and specialized skills.

• Build and maintain relationships with veterinarians, groomers, and other pet professionals to expand our network.

• Evaluate each dogs progress and create tailored training plans to meet their unique needs.

• Guide pet owners on how to maintain and reinforce their dogs training at home.

• Document training progress and communicate effectively with clients.

• Ensure safety protocols are followed and maintain a clean, safe training environment.

What Were Looking For:

• A minimum of 2 years of professional K9 handling experience, including at least 1 year of e-collar training expertise.

• Ability to board and train up to three dogs in your home, with a fenced yard strongly preferred.

• Strong customer service and communication skills to effectively engage with clients.

• A valid drivers license, reliable transportation, and current insurance.

• Knowledge of animal behavior principles and training techniques.

Schedule:

• Tuesday - Friday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

• Saturday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Compensation:

• Pay Range: $40,000 - $55,000/year + bonuses and commissions
