Join us to do the best work of your career as a Mechanical Piping Designer in our Power Group Team in Long Beach, CA ( Hybrid role).

Our Power Group is leading the future of the energy and utility generation industry, focused on combined heat and power, alternative fuels like biogas and hydrogen, fuel cells, battery storage, among many other cutting-edge technologies. You Will:

• Produce drawings and design of piping systems for heavy industrial projects like cogeneration power plants, central heating and cooling plants, renewable energy systems, utility distribution systems
• Develop equipment general arrangement drawings, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), Piping plan and section drawings.
• Design and model equipment skids, selection and design of pipe supports.
• Coordinate layout of mechanical equipment and routing of piping, ductwork, and miscellaneous components with other trades..
• Create and modify technical drawings and schematics from engineer markups using AutoCAD and Revit.
• We will provide training in Revit for use in your daily projects.

Essential Skills:

• 6+ years of related background
• Associate degree or equivalent from a vocational training program or technical school
• Knowledge of ASME codes and industry piping standards required
• Revit is a plus but we can train
• BIM360 Cloud Collaboration platform is a plus

The compensation range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 plus yearly merit bonus, benefits, matching 401K pending years of experience, professional licensure and education.
