Job Details: Machine Setup and Operator (Wire Processing)
- Schedule: 6:30am - 4:00PM Monday - Thursday, Fridays 6:30am - 10:00am
- Pay Rate: $17-$19/hr
Machine Setup and Operator (Wire Processing) Job Description: - Performs machine setups including applicators, de-reelers, and is responsible for proper selection of wire type, color, and guage.
- Performs setups, calibrations, and adjustments of equipment for production use.
- Performs air compressor and lead maker preventative maintenance.
- Executes the production schedule provided by the Prep Room Supervisor and reports daily production numbers.
- Maintains production levels to support the production schedule.
- Performs visual and mechanical inspections required during the production process.
- Works closely with all team members to support the production process and the goals of the organization.
- Makes recommendations to the Manufacturing Supervisor regarding improvements that could/should be implemented.
- Integrates quality as a major component of the production process.
Machine Setup and Operator (Wire Processing) Job Requirements: - High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with operating and maintaining equipment
- Must have computer skills, ERP, Microsoft Office, etc.
