Job Description

Moss & Company is currently looking for Leasing Agents for new property located in Canoga Park with extensive experience in Lease up/Leasing.

The Property

Sync on Canoga Park is a 220-unit new construction/lease up property with complete amenities such as resort style Pool and Lounge, Rooftop Retreat, Paw Park and Grooming Station, In-Unit Washer & Dryer, Indoor Bike Storage among others.

The Position

This position will be the face of the property and will coordinate/lead all marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies related to the property in coordination with the Leasing Manager. This position is responsible in achieving and keeping high occupancy level as well as meeting the resident retention goals for the property.

Job Description

This position is responsible in, but not limited to, the following day-to-day tasks:

  • Performs all sales and leasing activities for new residents to achieve the property revenue and occupancy goals;
  • Handles all lease renewal processes and requirements in a timely manner to maintain a high occupancy level;
  • Conducts markets surveys for comparable communities and stay attuned with the market changes and updates;
  • Provides excellent customer service to all residents and prospective residents;
  • Works closely with the Property Manager in conducting a smooth and excellent move-in experience for all new residents;
  • Conducts follow up calls to prospects;
  • Makes follow up calls to new residents to ensure that they are comfortable in their “new home”;
  • Ensures that the apartments are in move-in ready condition prior to the new residents move-in;
  • Maintains and updates information of available apartments information in Yardi enabling the marketing department derives the correct information;
  • Maintain resident files (both online and physical files);
  • Performs other tasks that may be directed by the immediate supervisor and/or needed by the position.

Professional Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience as a Leasing Agent
  • 1 - 2 years of experience in Lease up properties with at least more than 200 units
  • 1-2 years of practical experience in sales or customer relations
  • Computer skills required – Google Suite and Microsoft
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Positive and team-oriented mindset
  • A good grasp of multi-tasking and is detail-oriented
  • Enjoys assisting people with their concerns and other needs like finding a new home
  • Ability to work alone and/or part of a team
  • Ability to think of innovative ideas to improve customer service and/or leasing processes

This position comes with an hourly rate and competitive commission program .
