Job Details
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Maintain financial records and ensure their accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations.
Develop and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts and reviewing financial reports/support as necessary.
Prepare & analyze financial statements to recommend efficiency improvements and cost reductions.
Prepare and adjust journal entries and complete general ledger operations.
Prepare budgets and financial forecasts in coordination with various departments.
Conduct variance analysis and prepare financial reports for management on a regular basis.
Manage payroll processing and ensure accurate computation of wages, compliance with regulations, and timely tax withholdings.
Identify opportunities for improving financial processes and controls.
Manage inventory accounting and maintain records of assets and depreciations.
Prepare & present departmental financial status reports.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s & Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in financial reporting.
Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
Comprehensive understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Proficiency with accounting software and databases (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)
Ability to prepare, review, and understand financial statements
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
Knowledge of accounting procedures, including accounts receivable/payable
