The role of Inside Sales Specialist is pivotal to the future and growth of the company. This position focuses on supporting all aspects of the sales cycle and works closely with the Solution Sales Director to support the sales process. We are looking for an experienced inside sales support professional with experience supporting and coordinating all aspects of a technical sales cycle from prospect through hand-off to the project management team. Success in this role relies on having keen technical acumen and the ability to coordinate and manage all aspects of the sales cycle (averaging three to twelve months). This person will be responsible for providing support to two Solution Sales Directors in their assigned territories, while working in a remote or hybrid work environment. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic sales environment and is adept at ensuring all the details of the sales cycle are on target.

· Develops, leads, and executes strategies for new business

Essential Job Responsibilities

· Work closely with the Solution Sales Director to coordinate and track all aspects of the sales cycle.

· Follow calendar appointments and keep salesperson on track with deadlines, material, and support.

· Work with salesperson on project estimates and coordinate with all internal teams.

· Ensure RFQs are accurate and submitted on time.

· Coordinate closely with the engineering team on project details and pricing.

· Make sure pricing on all parts of the project are accurate and based on margins.

· Use Salesforce for tracking and documenting.

· Participate in customer sales meetings.

· Travel to job sites as needed (Infrequent: 2-3 times/year)

· Participate in project hand off meeting – sales team transfers project to Project Management

· Navigate a variety of personalities with a calm demeanor.

· Must be extremely organized, detail oriented, have a proactive approach and be an excellent team player.

Background

 

· Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

· 2-3 years or more experience in coordinating and supporting technical sales cycles and/or project management.

· Experience working in technical, manufacturing and/or industrial sales environments.

· Experience supporting up to two technical/outside sales reps with the sales cycle requirements.

· Experience working closely with sales teams and tracking projects.

· Communicating with customers at all stages of the sales cycle

· Communicating with internal teams ie. Engineering on quotes and project details

· Vendor management and pricing

· Experience working with Salesforce and using related modules for metrics and tracking.

· Ability to remain calm and resilient under pressure.

· Extremely detail oriented and accurate with quotes and numbers

· Experience using excel spreadsheets

· Comfortable making decisions about pricing based on margins.

· Strong communication skills both verbal and written.

· Excellent time management skills and extremely detail oriented.
