Role Overview :
The Grant Manager serves as the senior level professional that is responsible for developing, coordinating, and executing all the aspects of the CDC Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) and ASPR HHS Hospital Preparedness (HPP) grants from initiating, developing, and submitting grant applications through all cycles of the grant (i.e., grant application, agreement drafting, monitoring funds/reporting, fiscal accountability, grant closeout/grant reporting). This position is responsible for applying for the grant, executing all actions needed starting from the pre-application stage throughout the grant closeout, including organizing data, expense reporting, and executing all grant deliverables and finance-related challenges impacting how we support our health partners and broader internal (IDOH) division areas.
The Grant Manager is also accountable and responsible for ensuring the mobilization of all funding resources assigned to IDOH personnel, temporary/contractual employees, Local Health Departments (LHDs), and Heath Care Coalitions (HCC) committee members. The Grants Manager is the liaison for organizing and executing all resources assigned to our IDOH partners as guided by state and CDC regulations.
Salary Statement :
The salary for this position traditionally starts at $47,320.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.
