We are seeking a full-time Foster Home Licensing Coordinator. In this role, you will provide training and development for foster families while conducting and writing initial and recertification home studies. Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set your own schedule in collaboration with the team and foster parents.
  • Serve as an advocate for foster families.
  • License prospective foster homes within 90 days and complete recertifications at least 30 days before expiration.
  • Write home studies, training plans, and assessments.
  • Ensure foster parent files remain 100% compliant.
  • Travel throughout Montgomery and nearby counties, with about 50% of your time spent outside the office.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in social work or related field (e.g., psychology, criminal justice, human services, sociology).
  • Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year in foster care.
  • Ohio Adoption Assessor certification preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage deadlines and large volumes of paperwork.
  • Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and auto insurance required; may involve transporting youth.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary range: $43,000 - $60,000 , based on experience, licensure, education, and location.
