Job Description
We are currently looking for a skilled Elevator Mechanic and a motivated Helper to join our growing team! If you're experienced in elevator mechanics or eager to learn and assist, we want to hear from you.
Position 1: Elevator Mechanic
Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair elevators, escalators, and other vertical transportation systems.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and perform repairs as needed.
Work efficiently and safely in accordance with all safety protocols.
Collaborate with a team to ensure timely completion of projects.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in elevator mechanics or a related field.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics (preferred but not required).
Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments (tape measure).
Organized, reliable, and able to manage time effectively.
Eager to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Reliable transportation is a must as this is a site-to-site position.
Ability to speak and understand English conversationally.
Position 2: Elevator Mechanic Helper
Responsibilities:
Assist elevator mechanics with installation, maintenance, and repair tasks.
Ensure tools and materials are readily available for the team.
Perform basic tasks such as measuring, cutting, and cleaning up job sites.
Support mechanics with various tasks on different job sites.
Qualifications:
Eager to learn and assist in all aspects of elevator mechanics.
Knowledgeable with hand tools and power tools.
Must be organized and detail-oriented.
Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
Reliable transportation is essential for site-to-site work.
Team-oriented and willing to take direction.
Ability to speak and understand English conversationally.
Non-required but Helpful Qualifications (for both positions):
Experience with drywall installation or repair.
Welding skills.
Ability to read electric schematics.
