Job Description

✨ Job Opening: Credentialing Guru & Admin Extraordinaire
(a.k.a. Medical Administrative Assistant / Credentialing Specialist)

Mostly remote—but Miami-Dade/Broward locals, this one's for you!

Full-Time | Salary: $40,000–$58,000/year

Who We Are:
At IntelliRad Imaging ( we're not just reading scans—we're redefining what it means to be a cutting-edge radiology group. With a growing team of rockstar radiologists, APPs, and clinical pros, we serve major hospitals and clinics across South Florida with precision, compassion, and just the right amount of caffeine.

Now we need someone amazing (yes, YOU) to help us keep everything organized, credentialed, and running smoother than a well-lubricated MRI machine.

About the Role:
We're on the lookout for a multitasking magician who can juggle two key roles:

  • Right-hand assistant to our Executive Director (think scheduling, organizing, and looking like a boss), and
  • Credentialing Specialist who keeps our clinical team in the good graces of hospitals, payers, and all the bureaucratic forces of the universe.

This position is remote from home.

What You'll Actually Be Doing:
As Administrative Assistant:
  • Wrangling calendars like a scheduling cowboy
  • Creating, editing, and proofreading documents with grammar-fueled gusto
  • Managing cloud-based filing systems that would make Marie Kondo proud
  • Turning data into sleek reports and presentations

As Credentialing Specialist:
  • Keeping our clinicians in good standing with hospitals, insurance payers, and licensing boards
  • Completing initial and follow-up credentialing via hospital portals (Parallon pros, take a bow)
  • Helping new clinicians get credentialed, insured, and onboarded faster than you can say “NPI”
  • Maintaining accurate digital files that are audit-proof and drama-free
  • Spotting and solving credentialing issues before they become credentialing catastrophes

You'll Thrive in This Role If You:
  • Have at least 1 years of healthcare credentialing and/or admin experience
  • Know your way around Microsoft Office and Google Workspace like it's your second home
  • Speak fluent acronym (NPI, CAQH, CMS, DEA, HCA—you get it)
  • Can juggle deadlines, shifting priorities, and multiple “urgent” emails without breaking a sweat
  • Are a detail-lover with ninja-level follow-up skills
  • Have the charm and diplomacy to work with everyone from hospital execs to busy physicians

Perks & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary: $40,000–$58,000/year
  • 100% company-paid health insurance— yes, even your copays and deductible!
  • ☂ Disability & life insurance
  • Paid vacation & PTO
  • 401(k) (with eligibility after 90 days)
  • A supportive team that values balance, brains, and a good sense of humor

Bonus Points If You:
  • Are bilingual (English/Spanish = )
  • Have a degree (Associate's or Bachelor's preferred)
  • Have previous experience with hospital credentialing systems
  • Are the type of person who finds joy in spreadsheets (no judgment—we love that here)

Where You'll Work:

  • Remote from the comfort of home
  • Applicants must willing to work during eastern time zone hours (830am EDT to 5pm EDT --ish )

A Little About Us:
Founded in 2013 by four innovative physicians, IntelliRad Imaging has grown into a thriving team of 46 physicians, 13 NPs/PAs, and some of the best support staff around. We proudly serve multiple hospitals (including trauma and stroke centers) and teach the next generation of radiologists at a leading ACGME-accredited institution.

Equal Opportunity for Everyone:

We're proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees—regardless of race, gender, religion, or favorite DICOM viewer.

Ready to apply? If you're organized, efficient, credential-savvy, and ready to join a team that's as sharp as our imaging— we want to hear from you!
