Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our client's Sales & Marketing team. The BDR will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by identifying potential business opportunities and initiating relationships with prospective clients. This position requires a proactive approach to lead generation, strategic outreach, and collaboration with the sales team to advance prospects through the pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential clients through various channels, including digital platforms, industry events, and networking.
  • Initiate contact with prospective clients through cold calls, emails, and social media outreach to spark interest in our offerings.
  • Engage in meaningful conversations to assess prospects’ needs, qualifying them based on established criteria.
  • Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions and update the CRM system to track lead progression.
  • Work closely with Account Executives and Sales Managers to ensure a seamless transition of qualified leads.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and evolving customer needs to refine outreach strategies.
  • Regularly report on key metrics, including outreach efforts, conversion rates, and insights from prospect interactions.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 1-2 years in sales, business development, or a related field, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales prospecting tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage and influence potential clients effectively.
  • Ability to understand the sales process, recognize opportunities, and drive engagement.
  • Capability to assess client needs and propose suitable solutions.
  • Effective time management and ability to handle multiple prospects simultaneously.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving market environment.
  • Strong team player with a commitment to collective goals and success.
