Bookkeeper - Washington, DC

Beacon Hill Financial has partnered with a local client in their search for a Bookkeeper to join their growing team. This role is responsible for recording day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, receipts and payments and maintaining accurate general ledger entries and reconciling bank and credit card statements regularly. Key Responsibilities

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, receipts, and payments
  • Maintain accurate general ledger entries and reconcile bank and credit card statements regularly
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely billing and collections
  • Prepare financial reports such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Track and manage payroll, tax filings, and other compliance-related documentation
  • Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and financial forecasting as needed
  • Ensure all financial records are organized, up-to-date, and audit-ready
